Donna Hill's

Service Dog Training Institute

Terms of Agreement

I understand that dog training is an inherently risky activity and that it is my actions and choices that affect my dog’s behavior and responses to situations that I put my dog at home, while training in private sessions and in public locations. The Owner/Handler agrees to indemnify and hold Service Dog Training Institute and/or Island Discovery and Training and/or Donna Hill B.Sc.B.Ed. and/or any of their employees/agents (“Instructor”) harmless from any and all liability for any loss, damage or injury to persons, animals or property. Owner/Handler agrees that Instructor shall not be liable for any loss or damage for any reason unless said loss or damage was a direct and undeniable result of Instructor’s negligence. If a dog causes property damage, or bites or injures any other dog, animal or person during or after the term of this Agreement, then the Owner/Handler agrees to defend and indemnify Instructor and Instructor’s agents from any resulting claims, demands, lawsuits, losses, costs or expenses, including attorney fees. If a dog is injured in a fight or in any other manner during or after the term of this Agreement, the Owner/Handler assumes the risk and agrees that Service Dog Training Institute and/or instructors should not be held responsible for any resulting injuries, losses, damages, costs or expenses whatsoever. If the dog does not turn out to be successful as a working service dog after the owner/handler completes the Service Dog Training Institute program, the Owner/Handler assumes the responsibility and agrees that Service Dog Training Institute and/or instructors should not be held responsible for any resulting injuries, losses, damages, costs or expenses whatsoever.
