As social animals, dog learn by copying other dogs behaviors. Anyone who has lived with a dog for any length of time also knows that they also learn from humans. From copying our general posture, direction and speed to paying attention to our small behaviors and very complex chains of behaviors, we can use different types of the concept of social learning to teach our dogs more behaviors they need as service dogs.
Learning this concept will deepen your ability to communicate with your dog and your dog’s ability to understand your communication. Your needs and his needs can better be met for a stronger relationship!
