Settle or Relax is one of the essential behaviors that all service dogs must Have. They must be able to do it well, do it calmly and be able to generalize the behavior and the accompanying emotion to any location and distraction level.
There are many ways to teach a settle. The more different ways you can teach it, the better your dog will understand it.
